AMIR - One of my most fun, playful series. It's a contradiction, of sorts, because while appearing light-spirited, it has a solid, serious look that is more in keeping with my brother, who I named it after. Made of solid wood that is individually machined. more |
PRIDE - The look is earthy and mystical. Beautiful enough as a piece of abstract sculpture, it looks stunning from all angles. A great piece of art to meditate on, even greater to show off. A sand finish that looks as though it was poured over curves meeting straight lines. more |
ROCKER - I made my first Rocker in 1991 when I first started making clocks. I don't know where the idea came from, but here it is, still. Bases and faces are solid wood. All have brass hands decorated with acrylic dimensional paint. more |
TOWER - Another Steve Hurst signature creation. It stands tall and sleek, taking up very little table or desk space, but has a very big presence. The asymmetrical position of the face is what really makes this one stand out and be noticed. more |
